Every year, Youth Art For Healing hosts an in-person Art Show to showcase the work of our student artists before the artwork is installed in healthcare locations around the Washington D.C. metro area and beyond.

In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we created a Virtual Art Show so that we could still celebrate the gift of art given by our student artists. Now in 2021, for the second year in a row, we are delighted to present our Virtual Art Show, available below in both an immersive video experience and an explore-on-your-own gallery.

In both versions of the Show, learn more about our student artists and their experience with the Youth Art For Healing program from their Artist Statements.

Video Experience

Hit play, then sit back, relax, and enjoy this video that displays all 95 of the paintings created by our student artists during the 2020-21 school year. Many of these paintings are being given to individual frontline healthcare workers to show our appreciation for their service during the COVID-19 pandemic, as part of our Gifts of Gratitude project.

Explore-On-Your-Own Gallery

If you would like to view the students’ artwork at your own pace, all 95 paintings from the 2020-21 school year are available for you to click through in this slide show as well. Please enjoy!
